In the just finished Pakistan Super League (PSL) 7, Zaman Khan rose to attention after playing a key part in Lahore Qalandars’ title-winning season. Despite being one of the tournament’s top performers, Zaman’s family continues to live in a house without a solid roof.
Images showing the village’s deplorable state, as well as Zaman’s home, were shared on social media. This was revealed during the PSL 7 championship celebration visit to Zaman’s residence in Kashmir, which took place in Lahore.
Despite coming from a modest beginning, Zaman has worked his way to the top. In the seven editions of the PSL, the fiery pacer has been one of the best finds, and he will soon be knocking on the doors of the national T20 side.
In PSL 7, the 20-year-old was unstoppable for Lahore. He ended the tournament as the competition’s third-highest wicket-taker, with 18 wickets at an average of 21.50 in 13 matches.
