To promote the culture of all provinces, the federal government wants cultural exhibitions at airports. The aviation division convened a meeting under the chairmanship of secretary aviation to consider strategies for promoting tourism through aviation.
Officials from all provincial tourist ministries, as well as airline representatives, attended the conference. Various ideas, including the presentation of culture and artworks at airports, were addressed during the discussion.
During the discussion, the Secretary of Aviation stated that tourism in Pakistan has the potential to be a multi-billion dollar sector. Beautiful visitors, as well as historical and religious monuments, abound in Pakistan. The importance of properly promoting cultural, historical, and religious places cannot be overstated. The Ministry of Aviation and the Civil Aviation Authority are ready to assist any department that want to promote tourism in the country.
The conference was informed that counters have been built at several airports to assist and guide national and foreign travelers. The government now aims to promote Pakistani culture by using the space available at airports. Various federal and provincial ministries can exhibit their culture and artwork at various airport locations.
Representatives from provincial departments and the Ministry of Aviation agreed to work out the specifics at the next meeting. The Ministry of Aviation has requested provincial representatives to offer recommendations at the next meeting.
