During the PTI’s Azadi Long March, the government reportedly directed bank employees to keep a minimum amount of cash in ATMs (ATMs).
According to details, government and private bank employees have been warned not to express their political affiliation on social media under government pressure.
According to the warning, no bank employee should participate in a sit-in or long march; no bank employee will be granted leave for the next 2-3 days; and if a bank employee wishes to leave, proof in the form of a document must be submitted.
Bank employees have also been instructed to keep a minimum amount of cash on hand at ATMs.
Today marks the start of the PTI’s long march from Swabi. The rally in Islamabad will be led by former Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Prior to the start of the rally, all roads from Punjab to Islamabad were closed, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was also cut off from Islamabad.
