Dr. Arif Alvi, President of Pakistan, has emphasised the importance of developing a strategic and broad-based collaboration between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia in several domains for mutual benefit.
He remarked this while speaking with Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Nawaf bin Saeed Ahmad Al-Malkiy, who paid him a visit in Islamabad on Tuesday.
The President stated that Pakistan values its ties with Saudi Arabia, which has always backed Pakistan in difficult times. On a number of regional and global challenges, he noted, the two countries have a lot in common.
It was addressed how to strengthen commercial relationships and urge businesspeople and chambers of commerce from both nations to meet on a regular basis in order to improve bilateral economic relations.
The President stated that the over 2 million Pakistani diaspora in Saudi Arabia contributes significantly to both countries’ progress and development.
The President further requested that the Ambassador offer his heartfelt greetings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness, and that the people of Pakistan pray for his good health and long life.
