On Tuesday, the 24NewsHD TV channel announced that teachers teaching English in primary schools will be subjected to a language competence test.
The goal of the test is to determine primary school teachers’ English language proficiency.
According to an agreement signed between the Quaid-e-Azam Academy and the British Council, the test will be held on March 30.
A total of 470 primary school teachers from five districts will be evaluated. Lahore’s 140 instructors will be put to the test.
Lahore, Multan, Sialkot, Faisalabad, and Rawalpindi are among these districts.
In all districts, tests will be held on June 12 and 19.
Teachers who take the test will receive a Rs1000 travel allowance.
The British Council has requested that education officials ensure that teachers are present on exam day.
