The Fertilizer Review Committee (FRC) directed provincial governments and agriculture ministries on Wednesday to guarantee that urea is available at the previously announced rate of Rs. 1768 per bag.
Urea is being sold at the former price of Rs. 1768 per bag to provide assistance to farmers, according to the Fertilizer Review Committee (FRC), which convened under the chairmanship of the Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Industries and Production.
For the kharif season, the forum reviewed domestic fertilizer output and demand, as well as price and fertilizer tracking and verification mechanisms.
Agricultural department leaders told the conference that urea supplies were running smoothly across the country during the meeting. The maximum output of urea production by all urea plants was informed to the producers. They also praised the government’s efforts to supply urea producers with gas.
The progress of vehicle monitoring and verification by manufacturers and companies was discussed during the meeting. To ensure smooth transportation of urea across the country, the vehicle tracking system is being improved in accordance with government directives.
The government side of the FRC guaranteed the industry that the government will deal with concerns like as taxes and outstanding payments.
