The sacrificed animal belonging to former Test cricketer Kamran Akmal was taken from outside of his residence in a private housing community in Lahore.
According to Akmal’s father, they recently purchased six goats for qurbani and had them chained to the outside of their house.
He claimed that the night of the occurrence, at about three in the morning, their servant who was in charge of watching the animal slept off.
The greatest of them, which was purchased for Rs90,000, has been stolen, he mourned.
The housing society’s security management has been notified, and they have guaranteed the family that they will do all in their power to catch the thieves and get the goat back.
