Khurrum Dastagir Khan, the Minister of Power, told the National Assembly that 21,500 megawatts of power were produced on Monday, well exceeding our demand.
He was responding to a notice brought to his attention by Ms Aliya Kamran and others about unscheduled power outages in Balochistan.
The Minister stated that the administration believes in supplying electricity to all provinces equally.
He claims that feeders have no load-shedding, have an 80 percent recovery rate, and have fewer losses. He pledged to supply Balochistan with as much electricity as possible.
He also advised members of the House to report any unannounced load-shedding to the appropriate authorities.
He stated that the distribution companies have already been given instructions that energy should not be disrupted due to technical issues.
However, he stated that the government is experiencing resource challenges in providing uninterrupted electricity due to previous government mismanagement.
