Mohammad Amir thinks that no current Pakistani bowler can match his calibre.
Mohammad Amir was previously regarded as one of the world’s top bowlers with natural skill. He was implicated in a spot-fixing incident along with former Pakistani captain Salman Butt and seamer Mohammad Asif, which damaged his reputation.
Mohammad Amir completed the fairytale by coming back to represent Pakistan on the international level after completing his suspension. Amir’s ascent to fame was brief because of his absence from the game.
In an interview with a local media site, the left-arm pacer asserted that he is still now superior to all Pakistani bowlers, including Shaheen Shah Afridi.
Amir and Mohammad Asif were at one time Amir’s main rivals. When questioned about who would take more wickets if Amir was still playing, he responded that he didn’t believe it was appropriate to compare his ability to those of others.
“There isn’t, in my opinion, any rivalry between me and anyone else. The only bowler in the ICC rankings was myself. Even after the World Cup, I remained in the rankings for a solid year and a half before being eliminated, “Amir affirmed.
Amir further asserted that no other Pakistani bowler possesses his level of expertise.
“My thinking and the skills I possess are unmatched by anyone. Since everyone has a different class and I am the only student in my class, I don’t think there can be any comparisons “He stated with pride.
