Australia Thank you, PCB for eliminating ‘abnormal odors and rats’ from Team Hotel. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has been thanked by Cricket Australia (CA) for taking such good care of their players during their month-long trip.
In an official letter to the PCB, Cricket Australia stated that the Australian players were treated very well from the minute they arrived in Pakistan, and that the host country met all of its commitments.
“We were extraordinarily well cared after from the minute we landed on the ground in Islamabad.” It went on to say that “all that had been promised was fulfilled to an incredible degree of detail and completeness.”
In March of this year, Australia toured Pakistan for three Tests, the same number of ODIs, plus a one-off T20 international. The Test series was won by the visitors 1-0, while the ODI series was won by the hosts 2-1. The T20I series was likewise won by Australia.
CA praised Pakistan for getting rid of rodents at the hotel, providing a secure and pleasant atmosphere, and handling an unanticipated issue upon their arrival, while recalling a humorous anecdote in the letter.
“When we got at the hotel in Karachi, there were a number of concerns, including mice in the rooms, strange scents, and a variety of other surprises.” You [PCB] and your crew worked promptly to resolve the bulk of these issues, and we were happy that the improvements made facilitated a safe and comfortable stay within 48 hours.”
In addition, the Australian cricket board stated that they are looking forward to visiting Pakistan in the future.
“We are really appreciative for the exceptional contribution that you performed as the logistics and operations manager for our tour,” the letter said.
