Ahsan Iqbal, the Minister of Planning, asserted that the Thar Coal Power Plant Project might generate the least expensive electricity for the next 400 years while speaking at a Pakistan Business Council (PBC) event on Thursday in Islamabad.
He claimed that China helped with Thar Coal during the event titled “Private Investment and Reaping Benefits from CPEC” when no other nation was prepared to invest in Pakistan. He expressed his gratitude for China’s assistance over the years and noted that it had contributed $29 billion over the previous five years.
Ahsan Iqbal criticized the previous administration for inconsistent policies and disregarding the China-Pakistan Economic Corridors when commenting on the economic crisis (CPEC). He declared, “The previous administration exposed the CPEC’s flaws in just two years.
