For the second time, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has rejected the summary for a price increase on petroleum products.
Marriyum Aurangzeb, the Minister of Information and Broadcasting, revealed on Thursday that the Prime Minister has rejected the summary to raise petroleum product prices.
She referenced the premier in a statement, saying that the people cannot be penalised for the previous government’s incompetence, inefficiency, and failures.
She claimed that the administration of former Prime Minister Imran Khan had agreed to the IMF’s stringent conditions for raising the price of petroleum goods.
The minister noted that the administration is working hard to avoid putting further strain on the people, who are already dealing with a lot.
