Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stated on Tuesday that because Allah has given him the opportunity to serve the nation once more, he will not fail to do so.
“National service is our purpose, and I will not allow any form of neglect in that regard,” he stated in Lahore during a meeting with retired and active civil administration officers.
The conference was also attended by the Punjab chief secretary, secretaries of several departments, former chief secretaries, and leaders of various departments.
The officials informed the premier on their experiences in governance, administration, and policy execution during their visit.
PM Shehbaz informed the officers, “I warmly congratulate you on Eid.” “Pakistan is fortunate to have capable officers like you because capable officers guide and assist the government in achieving the country’s progress and prosperity.
He went on to remark that during the previous government’s time, some civil officials were harassed for no cause under the premise of accountability and openness.
“I am adamant that I begin my tenure as Prime Minister with skilled officers.” PM Shehbaz stated, “I would discuss all stakeholders on laws for accountability and transparency.”
Civil servants are part of the government’s team, according to the premier, and their issues must be addressed.
