The enormous landslide that blocked the road from Skardu to Jaglot has been cleared by the Frontier Works Organization. Over the past 24 hours, Frontier Works Organization put in a lot of effort.
After landslides blocked the Jaglot Skardu route, the Frontier Works Organization is attempting to clear it urgently.
The blockade has also been noted by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who has asked FWO to open the Tormik stretch of the Jaglot-Skardu road immediately.
The Juglot-Skardu Road has had numerous blockades in the Roundu Valley region as a result of landslide activity. The road has been closed for six days alone in the last two weeks.
Although clearance activities are in progress, the current barrier has been in place for three days. It is anticipated that it may take another two days to restore traffic flow on the route.
It is significant to highlight that the JSR road serves as the primary route for the delivery of food and gasoline to nearby areas. As a result, the road needs to be opened as soon as possible. The FWO has been working nonstop to clean the road as soon as possible. It has already been effective in opening a portion of the Tormik wall.
