Shehbaz Sharif, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, has announced the establishment of a women’s university in Karachi.
According to information, the federal government will develop a women’s university in Karachi in partnership with the Sindh government. The land need and other costs will be covered by the provincial government.
The Sindh government has also recommended names for three institutions that would be converted into women’s universities. Khatoon-e-Pakistan Girls College, APWA Girls College, and Govt Girls College North Nazimabad are among the colleges.
Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif recently visited Karachi and emphasized the importance of completing significant development projects such as the Karachi Circular Railway and K-4, as well as announcing the formation of a new institution.
The prime minister also paid a visit to the MQM-P headquarters to meet with the party’s leadership.
